Shift Supervisor

Oversees live dispatch floor during a shift and handles escalations.

WHAT COMMS SOUNDS LIKE

On a typical shift

Call intake

Taking 911 calls in character and translating them into clean radio traffic.

Unit coordination

Tracking who's on which call, and keeping units from stepping on each other.

Cross-department relay

Looping DOT into an LE scene, or Fire & EMS into a crash — Comms is the thread that ties it together.
